Is Anything on Netflix Worth Watching?

“Marriage Story,” starring Scarlett Johansson, Adam Driver, and Laura Dern is a Golden-Globe awarded movie about two people going through a divorce while fighting for custody. Although it is a Netflix movie, it has received a lot of attention such as Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. The movie also received a 8.1/10 stars on IMDb.

The popular TV series “You” season two has recently come out on Netflix and has received a lot of attention. Many people were disappointed with the ending and left wanting more. The show stars Penn Badgley, who played Dan Humphry in the popular TV show “Gossip Girl.” He plays a serial killer who falls in love with a girl and becomes obsessive. The TV show is based on a novel with the same name and is known as a love story, but most people would argue it is more of a thriller/drama.

“Good Girls”, another Netflix original, has just released new episodes for its season two. The comedy/drama is about three suburban moms who rob a local grocery store. However, the show takes an unexpected turn and leaves the women in a bind. The show has received a 7.9/10 stars on IMDb and was nominated for a Satellite Award. 

A twisted criminal’s videos cause a group of online strangers to plan a manhunt that helps them catch a murderer. “Don’t F**k With Cats” is a Netflix documentary about how a group of people witnessed a video of a man killing cats via Facebook. The group of people decide to track down the man and end up solving the case after months of searching for the criminal. The documentary received a 8.2/10 rating on IMDb. The man ended up committing a murder, which is common for people who start off killing small animals. The people eventually alert the police, and their work is recognized and praised in the Netflix documentary.
