As a goalkeeper, Moore had 24 shutouts for the Knights. He then committed to the University of North Carolina. After college, he went to the United Kingdom to play for Torquay United, Fleetwood Town FC, and most recently, Rochdale AFC, where he had 10 appearances with five shutouts.

He will join Atlanta United’s goalkeeper group with starter Brad Guzan and Decatur’s Alec Kann. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra was quoted saying “[Moore’s] a local product with valuable professional experience in England, and he’ll add quality to overall group of goalkeepers.”

Moore’s senior quote was “Why take the escalator in life when you have a perfectly good canoe.”
